Smart 3G phone as Modem - Review
I am now testing my Ericson K530i phone as modem so far connection is fast better than dial-up I think. Im blogging now using my Smart 3g Phone as my modem, Im quite surprise that my connection speed is at 115kbps. Smart 3G Internet is easy to install/setup, you’ll just need to install your 3G phones PC Suite and activate your cellphone to use MMS,GPRS and 3G. Then just open your PC Suite, then go to Mobile Networking wizard, just follow the wizard and thats it. You are now connected to the net using your Smart 3g Phone.

well, 115kbps is the capacity of the modem (ur phone in this case). u can actually adjust it til 915 something kbps but it will not change much on the speed. i am using smart 3g with my w850i. it worked fine the first time, seemed like i run 1mbps that time..page loads right after u entered the address and limewire handled as much as 50kbps while i’m dowloading.. pretty fast.. but after 3-5 days, the speed slowly goes down to 100+or sometimes lower than 100kbps.i even thought that it is my computer that is running slow since the 3g connection worked fast the first time i use it (don’t want to give up on it). so i did reinstall WinXp, but i’m still getting the same effect.. hmm.. can’t do anything bout it now..
